A21SE Integrated Amplifier (December 2004)
 |
The Sugden team is proud to announce the A21SE Integrated Amplifier (left). The latest in a long line of amplifiers bearing the Sugden insignia A21, the Sugden A21SE product is a truly magnificent example of Sugden "Pure Class A" sound reproduction. Designed developed and manufactured in the UK it encompasses the pride and soul of the Sugden team.
Evolving from the much-lauded Sugden A21a Integrated amplifier, an amplifier that has reference status throughout the world, the new SE will rapidly be recognised as the new reference standard against which others are judged
Combining increased power with improved user facilities, this latest evolution of the Sugden A21 also incorporates a completely new line stage and remote volume control. The line stage is dual mono with separate current shunt power supplies and the ability to reproduce all types of music with unreserved dynamics and control.
The A21SE is an amplifier with phenomenal musical capabilities that must be experienced to be believed. Positive and assertive with all types of speakers its wide bandwidth capabilities ensure its compatibility with all the modern formats of reproduction. |
Just as the original A21 shunned the commercial design trends of nearly forty years ago, so the A21SE maintains the development of Class A circuitry. "Rescuing music from technology" is a serious task, and a task which Sugden take great pleasure in. The current Industry trend, to utilise one of a plethora of high speed approximation power amplifier techniques is rejected in favour of Pure Class A circuitry. "Pure Class A" amplification synonymous with Sugden, starting with the total sum and maintaining its completeness. Musical reproduction for the discerning listeners complete satisfaction.
CDMaster - latest version now available (May 2004)
June will see a transport/laser upgrade for the Bijou CDMaster that will improve performance. A premium digital interface has been installed between the transport system and converter. The new digital circuit provides a cleaner signal in the digital domain aiding conversion and improving sound quality. A new microprocessor and modified power supply have also been included. The retail price has remained the same.
MusicMaster Stand (February 2004)
The Bijou MusicMaster power amplifier has been supplemented by a pupose-built matching aluminium stand (right). It is natural for the power amp to form the base, to give a stable and stylish structure to carry other components of the Bijou range. This also extends the opportunity to develop a 'cabletidy' installation. The MusicMaster stand currently retails at £225.00 including VAT.
New CD21 (January 2004)
Whilst the popular trend in digital processors has led many firms to develop 'universal' players, our search for the musical pinnacle in sound reproduction has spawned the most recent CD21 compact disc player. With a new transport system and improved specification we can promise you even greater accuracy and analogue musicality. The price remains unchanged, at the moment.
